Blog > Foreclosure Help Is Here

Foreclosure is one of the most stressful experiences a homeowner can face. When your home has already gone through a sheriff’s sale, it can feel like your options are gone. But in Minnesota, you still have a redemption period—a window of time where you may be able to sell your property, pay off the debt, and protect your financial future.
That’s where my program comes in.
What I’m Offering:
As a licensed Realtor®, I’ve created a unique program designed to help homeowners who are:
-
Already past the sheriff’s sale, and
-
Still within the redemption period.
If you qualify, I will waive my commission entirely when selling your property. This means you don’t pay me for representing you as the listing agent.
While certain costs still apply—such as broker commission, broker administrative fees, and possible buyer-side agent commissions—you save thousands by not having to pay my commission.
Why I’m Doing This:
I’ve seen too many families lose everything to foreclosure, even when equity was still possible. For many, the redemption period is the last chance to sell, recover some value, and avoid a total financial loss. By waiving my commission, I can remove one of the biggest expenses tied to selling, making it more possible for you to walk away with something in your pocket.
This isn’t charity—it’s about fairness. If I can help you reduce the cost of selling during one of the hardest times in your life, then it’s worth it.

How It Works:
-
We meet and review your situation. I’ll confirm that your property is in the redemption period and eligible for this program.
-
We list your property for sale. I’ll market it just as I would any other listing—professional photos, MLS listing, exposure to buyers.
-
I waive my commission. You’ll still see a commission line item for the buyer’s agent, broker's commission, a broker admin fee, but my side will be set to zero.
-
We close the sale. Proceeds go first to pay off your redemption amount. If anything is left over, it goes back to you.
Why Act Quickly:
The redemption clock doesn’t stop ticking. Once it expires, the lender fully owns your home, and your chance to sell is gone. Acting now can mean the difference between walking away empty-handed or regaining some financial stability.
Let Me Try To Help:
If you’re in foreclosure, past the sheriff’s sale, and still within the redemption period, this program may be exactly the lifeline you need. My role is simple: take away the burden of paying my commission so you can focus on recovering what you can.
